Private Training
One-on-One Guidance for Real Life
Hutter K9 Private Training is designed to help owners build clarity, structure, and confidence with their dog — focusing on real-world skills that carry over into everyday life.
Private sessions are intentionally practical and honest. This is not command-only training or quick fixes, but structured guidance that helps both dog and owner understand how to move forward together.
Private Training is often the starting point before transitioning into Day Train or Board & Train, depending on the dog’s needs and goals.

In-Home Training Sessions (Limited & By Approval Only)

What Private Training Looks Like
Private sessions focus on helping owners learn how to communicate clearly and fairly with their dog while addressing behavior, mindset, and daily structure.
Sessions may include:
Foundation obedience and leash work
Addressing household behaviors and routines
Building calmness, neutrality, and emotional regulation
Owner handling, timing, and consistency
Real-world problem solving specific to the dog
Training is always tailored to the dog in front of us — not a checklist.
Who Private Training Is For
Private Training is a good fit for:
Owners seeking hands-on coaching and education
Dogs who need clearer structure and expectations
New dogs settling into a home
Owners unsure which training path is the best fit
Private Training is not a fit for quick fixes, command-only obedience, or training without follow-through.
How Private Training Fits Into Other Programs
Some dogs benefit from more structure than private sessions alone can provide.
During Private Training, we may recommend:
Day Train for dogs who need consistency and repetition
Board & Train for dogs who require deeper foundation work or a more immersive program
Recommendations are always made based on what best supports the dog.
Tools & Training Approach
Every form of training involves tools — even something as simple as a leash. Tools are used as a means of clear, fair communication.
Tools used during Private Training are selected based on the individual dog and training goals, with an emphasis on clarity, neutrality, and long-term success.
